Adam Kodithuwakku
Kodithuwakku Kanakanamge Adam Kodithuwakku is currently aged 14 and a student of Royal College, Colombo. As one of the highest scorers in the national grade five scholarship examinations of Sri Lanka, Adam Kodithuwakku has performed brilliantly in his studies. Adam is gifted and he was placed third in the grade five scholarship examination in the district of Matara. In addition, Adam has won the 2013 class prize at his school as well as the Sinhala class prize in the same year. At present, Adam is studying in grade 9 and he is also a student of the Java Institute for Advanced Technology.

 

Mr. Nirodha Rupasinghe, Head of the Department of Public Relations of the Java Institute noted that “Adam received a 100% scholarship worth Sri Lankan Rupees 1.05 million from the Java Institute in recognition of his skills and the Java Institute is planning to provide the research infrastructure in order to sharpen his skills in his interested areas in computing.”

 

Born in Galle, Adam Kodithuwakku’s former school was Bapagoda Kanishtaya, which is located in Matara. Adam’s father is Mr. K.K. Sugath saman Kumara and Adam’s mother is Mrs. V.V. Dayani. Adam is also blessed with two sisters, Sara Kodithuwakki, a student of the sixth grade, and Hiruni Meekala Kodithuwakku, a student of the second grade. Born on the 5th of March, 2002, Adam has performed well in his studies and he currently resides in Moratuwa. Members of the Management and panel of staff of the Java Institute for Advanced Technology wishes Adam all the best in all his future endeavours.



Special Talents of Adam

 

Adam is highly talented in 3D animation and intelligent game designing and consequently, the Java Institute has decided to involve Adam with current research projects of the Institute. Accordingly, Adam will be able to sharpen his skills using the strategic guidance of the Java Institute.

Adam’s mother stated “Adam’s future ambition is to be the youngest Software Engineer in Sri Lanka.”

 

 

Achievements of the Java Institute
